Exploring Sacred Albion

Throughout 2009/2010, I will be surveying a number of megalithic & sacred sites across the UK, both large and small, legendary and unknown. The aim of the project is to formulate a deeper multidimensional view of their function and presence. This is in addition to the privilege of experiencing firsthand their innate beauty and power.

Some of the oldest and most mysterious structures on Earth will be observed, touched, intoned and reflected upon. Earth energy alignments, astronomical & astrological data, sacred geometry, esoteric sound technologies, psychometry and entheogenic connections will all be explored.

Megalith comes from two Greek words, megas meaning great and lithos meaning stone. Hence the term megalith; great stone. The ancient lands of Albion have a particularly rich and intriguing concentration of megalithic sites, with much fascinating terminology & categorization such as menhirs, dolmens, trilithons, henges, cromlechs and tumuli - all to be further detailed as the project unfolds.
